About

Beginning October 2, 2024, join this 7-module weekly study designed specifically for women seeking release and healing from an angry past. Based upon the self-help and personal growth book titled "Angry Daughter: A Journey from Hatred to Love",  this study will walk participants through some of the hard parts of their past, moving forward through a journey of letting go and stepping into healing through Jesus. As a discussion-based, highly interactive study, we'll laugh, cry, and learn together as we embark on a transformative journey towards emotional and spiritual freedom. Participation is free with the purchase of the Angry Daughter book (available on Amazon).  We will meet online on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm EST.

  • In module 1 we will discuss our beliefs about grief, our preparation for grieving future parental death, or regrets/peace about past parental death and where we are in the grieving process.

In module 2 we will discuss the biggest unhealthy mindsets we saw from our parents in our childhood and how those mindsets play out in our behavior as adults.

In module 3 we will laugh at the goofy, embarrassing, and hilarious things we did our childhoods.

In module 4 we will discuss the really unhealthy things that were passed on to us by our family of origin and how to deal with destructive family patterns and generational bondage.

In module 5 we will discuss the other issues our parents struggled with, what annoyed us back then or what continues to be an issue (in us or in our family) today.

In module 6 we will be opening the locked doors to big secrets we've carried in our hearts, discussing where we are in forgiveness, and getting Jesus into those places in our heart.

In module 7 we will be letting Jesus transform how we see ourselves and our parents, and learning how to let Him lead us into the destiny He has planned for our lives as we surrender to his will.
